Stars
Stars are openings of light in the night of life
I had a “girlfriend” in the first grade. She was an outcast like myself. She had golden hair, my hair was dark brown. She always looked dreamy and spaced out. Kids made fun of her. She carried a little book that began with a picture of a star. She said, “We came from there”. Looking back, I now feel that she knew something important.
Indeed, we do come from the stars. The elements that support life where not there at the beginning of the Universe; but had to be “cooked” in the vaults of earlier stars that created heavier elements such as carbon and oxygen. These stars exploded and later new stars came into being that already had these elements build upon. So we come from second, third, and perhaps fourth generation stars. We are star stuff.
We can’t be certain about what happened way back when it all began. The best we can come up is theory and poetry. So we say, “God created …” not really knowing what God is, because it is all beyond our deep understanding. Just go into deep silence and stillness several times a day, to feel for the source of all that is.

What sound will the universe make When it dies?
What sound will the universe make
When it dies?
Will it crumble and crack,
Or let out a sigh?
Will it summon tears tragic?
Or at peace with the matter
Sit silent in thought
Or exude cosmic laughter?
How will we know if
The universe bursts?
Are we its sole conscience
Bound to one tiny earth?
These things
These things
The coyote sings
In the deep of the meadow
So lonely for spring
Will we ever know if
There's none left to wonder?
When atoms shake naked
Under skies torn asunder
How will we know when
The sage is withholding?
In the deep of the meadow
A flower unfolding

Holographic Nature of Reality
Cosmos defines everything including the indefinable. Music of the spheres plays on and on. Every point of space is packed with an image of the entire cosmos. That's the holographic nature of reality. We contain the entire cosmos within us, but always looking outwardly for the answers. Now look and listen within.

Creation
Creation
Creation is the play of nothing, something, the possible, and the impossible. Within a field of nothing a universe is born - expanding outward in all directions. Many theories exist about this. Some theorists suggest that there may be multiple universes (but detecting such a possibility going to be hard). What’s something? A thing, an object Things could be tangible or intangible.
Every moment and place is filled with infinite possibilities. Out of nothing (unless God is assumed) a universe began to expand.

Creation
The physicist, unmaking mind and life
explaining creatures as kinds of light
To undo the work of the Creation,
returning from the 6th to the 1st Day!
“To Undo the Work of the Creation…”
Paul Goodman[1]
When did it
begin? Anyone of us around for that event? Was it the sound of “aum” as
suggested in the ancient Upanishads? Physicists
and cosmetologists project backwards using mathematical time travel. They say
we can tune into the sound of the cosmic creation event, the Big Bang. You can
“hear” that creation sound on your radio or television as the static on
channels with no active broadcast stations – it’s a small percentage of that
static! The shock waves of creation are still with us.
“Universe” = “uni” + “verse” suggesting “One song”. The
universe sings one song. Listen, listen, and listen. The song is love.
Creation is not over. New varieties of animal and plant
species are still arriving. Old mountains falling. Creation is a big long
winded event. Now is the moment of creation. “Undo the work of Creation” – come
into presence where you are. It begins here and now. Again and again. Now
create. “Let there be….” Just fill in the blanks.
A listener of my audio recordings[2] listeners
wrote:
your words always give me hope
that there is someone on the same frequency out there.
the frequency of the universe.
that there is someone on the same frequency out there.
the frequency of the universe.
A beautiful idea: that we can tune ourselves to the frequency
of the universe! What could that frequency be? Perhaps the ringing echoes of
the Big Bang creation event. Maybe the sound of Aum (om) as suggested in the
Upanishads. Or, is it the frequency of truth - which only a quiet soul can
hear?

God had to make "not-God"
I hear from Jewish and Islamic perspectives that God is infinite and has to create; even create his negation – the not-God – the realm of illusions or appearances which we know so well. Seyyed Hossein Nasr said it so well when he wrote: "Since the One God is Infinite and Absolute as well as the Infinitely Good, He could not but create. His infinitude implies that He contains within Himself all possibilities, including that of negating Himself, and this possibility had to be realized in the form of creation. Moreover, as St. Augustine also stated, it is in the nature of the good to give of itself, and the Infinitely-Good could not but radiate the reality that constitutes the world and, in fact, all the worlds."*
