Being a lover of wisdom is engaging in the humbling task of extracting deeper understanding as we live in the company of others. We are extending ourselves to the longer view, to the "long now" and envision our current actions thousands of years into the future. That vision informs and changes our current thoughts and actions. Through the understanding of ourselves we find a path to freedom.
